About project
The Moss is a Framer template designed specifically for writers and creatives who needed a beautiful home for their work online. Most blogging templates are either too generic or too complex. Moss was built to feel like a well designed book — quiet, readable, and full of intention.
Challenge
Writing focused websites live or die by typography and readability. The challenge was building a template that put content first while still feeling visually distinctive enough to stand out. It also needed to be simple enough for non technical users to set up and customise without breaking anything.
Process
Researched how writers and creatives actually use their websites — what pages they need, how readers consume long form content, and what makes someone stay on a page. Built the layout around reading comfort first, then layered in the visual details. Every spacing decision, font size, and line height was tested against real long form content.
Result
A fully responsive Framer template with CMS connected blog, newsletter integration, about page, and now page. Clean typographic system built for long form reading, with subtle interactions that never distract from the content. Available on the Framer marketplace.
